My wonderful family!!

That's so cute and nice of them!!

I wanted to shop alone. And when I had 3 dresses I would have been happy with, one I loved more than others, then I took my mom and then FI. And I would have hated a group in a salon. But the week it came in an old family friend was getting married in our home town. 4 sisters and 3 cousins who live a farm away , were home from scattered homes and colleges, over just hanging out at parent's house. ( Unusual.) And they had conspired to have me play dress up. Not in a salon with others, and no worrying about differing opinions, already purchased, altered. And it was fun playing dress up ! Your family is so sweet doing this, You look wonderful in that gown. I love the sweet romantic look . They must have been thrilled .

Something I thought ( but did not say) when I read your post, I thought again when your last 2 pics showed up on recently posted pics. So, not critisism of your veil, which is very nice, light and not overwhelming, nice edging. But, have you ever thought of a headpiece, or tiny hat, with a birdcage veil? just inches of veiling? Not necessarily to go down the aisle.For some first look pictures, if you do them? Or a photographer's portrait? To wear at or leaving the reception. Or if you change to a traveling suit or dress, or wear a cocktail dress or dressy suit at a party, or a honeymoon dinner. Then it would be in a color to go with or accent your outfit. But you have the perfect doll face and sweep of wavy hair, and would look great in this less common vintage glamour accessory. And to wear a small hat at a jaunty side angle, is something lots of people can't carry off, but great on your face shape and coloring.

Oh I did the same thing with the members of my bridal party! What I did was I went and picked out 5 wedding dresses from Azazie and Cocomelody and had a mini wedding dress try-on! (>O< It was so much fun, and I'm glad I was able to get my say yes to the dress moment.
