YIKES!!!!!!!! That's more than I spent on my dress, veil and shoes combined! I had some serious sticker shock when I started looking for my bridal attire, especially when it came to the veils! I'm not sure if you are a crafty person or if you know someone that is, but this is the route I went. I really wanted a cathedral length veil with my dress, but couldn't bring myself to spend $500 on one. So I ended up getting a raw edge cathedral veil through Etsy. With taxes and shipping it came to a little under $45.00. Then I found this beautiful beaded lace trim on Amazon for $14.95 for 2 yards. I bought 4 yards so I would have extra and so for $75.00 I got my beautiful cathedral veil! I used invisible thread to stitch it on and used a blanket stitch. It looks amazing with my dress and I still can't get over how well it matches! Maybe you could go that route?

My dress cost the earth. I wasnt paying that when I knew what I was doing. There are some great online tutorials on making a cathedral veil. If you have time, I'd do it. You can get some silk tulle or English net on Etsy. Best wishes!! If you get silk, you can dye it to match your gown if you wanted.
