My nerves are kicking in

Danielle, on January 12, 2017 at 3:32 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

I've been posting a lot lately, but it's because I'm nervous. I guess it just hit me that this wedding is creeping up in me and I'm scared, excited, anxious, even obsessive. I'm having nightmares about everything going wrong. All kinds of weird questions about what can go wrong are floating around my head literally all day. I'm just venting, hopefully get a little advice on how I could learn to chill out. I'm stressing myself out Smiley sad

You still have a lot of time! Just try to relax and realize it will all work out. As long as you are hosting your guests appropriately, try not to dwell on the small things.

You'll be fine! Plan well, be organized, but try to have fun! At the end of the day you'll be married to your love and that's what mattered!

It's important to realize the stress and anxiety you are feeling right now is because of the wedding. Not your relationship. Smiley smile I worried a lot the month before our wedding and the day was fine, just try to relax. Smiley smile

My main scare is that nobody shows up lol. I find myself being on WW like all day because I think I'm gonna miss out on some important advice. Blah

Breathe. Seriously. Slow your roll. I was starting to feel that way and realized I needed to take a step back and just chill. The meaning behind the wedding is the part that truly matters. Journal it out. Dance it out. Whatever it is you do to cope, and remember what this is all aboit. Communicate your anxieties and worries with your FH and friends and then just release it.

What helps me is getting everything in motion, and competing small tasks. Even if it's just collecting 10 addresses this week. Or reaching out to your first florist. Or adding songs to your DJ playlight. It all adds up to pulling off a wedding in 9 months.

    We have time!
