Just Said Yes December 2020

My nephew is walking me down the aisle

on January 5, 2020 at 11:45 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 1 4
I have never had a great relationship with my father.. My grandfather was like a Dad to me, my whole life. He always said he'd walk me down the aisle and do the father-daughter dance with me, but he passed away a few years ago.

My 9 year old nephew and I are very close, and he will be walking me down the aisle. I need help with wording, if any, to replace "Who gives this woman...". Help!

Sorry, can’t edit. It could be directed to both of your whole families, so they all can answer at once.

How about nothing said? Just kiss you on the cheek and hand you over.

We skipped the "give away" phrasing altogether because I didn't like it. We substituted it with the officiant asking my parents if they vowed to support our marriage. Then we did hugs! In your case, it could be directed toward your closest family members Smiley smile
