My mom is walking me down the aisle

I've seen mothers walk them down so definitely go for it. I did a mother daughter dance in addition to father daughter dance and I got so many compliments on awesome it was to share that with my mom . some people thought it would be awkward but me and my mom are super close so it was one of my favorite moments of the day!!

I think it's totally acceptable for your mom to walk you. My relationship with my dad is rocky to say the least and he's been non existent since I started wedding planning. I'm also considering having my mother walk me

Both of my parents walked me down the aisle. For that matter, both of my husband's parents walked him as well. I really loved it.

We didn't do any of the father-daughter etc dances because my dad felt really uncomfortable with dancing.

My dad is in my life and walking me down the aisle. However, my mom is my best friend- so we are doing a father daughter dance and a mother daughter dance. I couldn't imagine not including it

My mom will be walking me down the aisle. My dad passed away a few years ago so I was going to have my grandmom (dad's mom) do it but then she passed away this past fall, so now my mom's doing it. I think I'm going to ask my brother to do the "father daughter" dance though.
