What delivery time did the salon quote you? Have you called them?

I'd personally be blowing up the bridal salon with phone calls wanting to know where my dress was. Only b/c your wedding is coming up and if you have to have alterations done, you're going to be short for time. I'd say call the salon and make them give you an answer. Someone has to know the status of it.

How long did the bridal boutique you ordered from tell you it would take to arrive? I would call them today and check on the order status!

Did the store tell you how long it was supposed to be till it came in? You should call and check the status of it.

Call right away. If they are evasive or don't get back to you, then stop by the salon.

You should be following up with your bridal salon. They should be able to provide an update as to when the dress is expected to arrive and how the delayed shipment may impact your fittings.

    Update.

I had already talked to the salon numerous times when I posted this. I kept getting told "it will be here next week". It still isn't here. I'm not very good at being bridezilla if I need to be. But I do have a momzilla who has been in contact with them. After her being in contact with the owner my dress will either be here next week or they will be paying the cost to have it sent from another supplier and cost of rushed alterations.

    Momzilla to the rescue!

Frankly, being adamant about having your dress arrive on time, within the time it was promised, with enough time to allow for alterations, when it was ordered within the time frame you were told you needed to order it for your wedding date, is not a "zilla" moment, and you or anyone else has every right to blow up their phone, be a frequent visitor, post negative reviews, file formal complaints, etc until the issue is resolved.

Go in and talk to the owner in person. A week is too long to wait for a wedding that’s 8 weeks away. You have to factor in alterations and production. Someone probably forgot to put in the order or submitted an incorrect order and they are trying to cover up the mistake. What they may try to do is give you a newer sample from another salon and try to pass it off as the dress you ordered but needing some alterations (this happened to my friend). Sometimes you have fight for yourself and what is right and this is definitely one of those times.

Most wedding dresses are manufactured in China, with the Coronavirus there are a lot of factories that haven't been open or fully staffed. I'd definitely inquire about it, but I'd understand that the reality is that things are really bad where the factories are right now.

Love a good momzilla at the right times!

I'd be sure to write a poor review... no other bride wants to go through that! So glad it looks like it'll work out for you!

I ordered my dress yesterday and was told we need to move my bridesmaids order date up 6 weeks because of the Coronavirus and all of the delays due to it. This maybe what caused the delay with your dress.

Beautiful Dress! But i would contact them ASAP. Your wedding is too close to be without a dress.
