I mean… It really doesn’t help that you have a mask on and I am assuming that your hair elastic won’t be on your wrist on your wedding day etc lol. But it still looks breathtaking! Not sure what you’re seeing but you look stunning! Definitely a wow factor

I had a similar issue. While I think the photos of me in my dress are nice, I didn’t have quite the same feeling. But I will say I was happy when it came in & I picked it up & tried it on. The reasons I picked it were all still true! And if you’re happy in your dress, that will show in photos. Alterations should help too but I say that having not had mine done yet.

I 100% agree. My dress needs the shoulders shortened which means the whole bust looks a little wonky in the photos of me wearing it. Luckily, I only have to go to my parents house and take a peak at it to remind myself how in love with it I really am.

I love your dress! I don’t love pics of my dress because the neckline will be modified with alterations. Look at pics of it on the model instead. Because that is how you will look without your mask and your alterations etc.

My favorite dress when I was trying them on was different than the one that photographed best on an iphone. I chose the one that was my favorite in person. Remember your groom and guests will be seeing you in person, not in pictures. And your photographer will probably be able to capture much better pictures of it than snapshots taken in the salon.

Same! But as another poster mentioned, how you felt in the dress in person will probably be how you feel at the wedding (x1000 😂). Your hair and makeup will be on point; no mask (🤞🏻); and the dress will have been altered to fit like a glove! You look beautiful in this pic & will be stunning on your wedding day!

That sounds normal. A photo isn’t the same as being in the moment. You also had an initial wow since the dress was new and seen for the first time. So getting that exact same feeling again isn’t possible. That happens with anything, and a bridal gown is no different. I think that’s why too many brides have “dress regret”. They overly scrutinize pics of their dress. So then they want a new dress 🤷🏽‍♀️ But the dress excitement will return on wedding day.

It totally will!! Same thing happened to me. I was actually thinking about getting a new dress. But yes when you go for alterations you'll fall in love again. I actually loved my dress even more !!

Bridal salons never have great lighting for photos, so I feel like the shopping photo are always underwhelming. My photos weren't great at all, but when the dress came in and I put it on I fell in love all over again! 💖
