My dress doesnt zip!

So when i went to davids bridal back in February and got my dress they either measured me wrong or something i dont think ive gained any weight ive actually lost weight recently. I have some love handles on my back which has always kinda been a problem area for me. It is a ball gown so the waist area is fine. But the back wont zip at all. Its like a gap of maybe 6 inches. Would a corset help? My dress is not returnable and they don't even make it anymore so i cant exchange it. Im losing more weight but idk how to target my back fat lol.

    You should take it to a seamstress to have it let out. It won’t be the full six inches needed but they would be able to change it form a zipper back to a corset which would help immensely.

    A corset back would help but you will want a seamstress to look at your dress first they may be able to let it out in areas so it fits better before needing to jump to becoming a corset back
