My dress color!!

My favourite coloured dress designer is Teuta Matoshi, but they don't appear to have any actual boutiques open in the US at the moment

I normally also suggest Needle and Thread, who I think sell through Nordstrom, but I wasn't overly impressed with any of their red dresses when I looked just now.

If I were you, I would go to some high-end department stores and look in the evening gown section! I hope you find something and then share it with us!

I worked in bridal for three and a half years, and over that time, we sold a couple red gowns! Typically they were formal gowns from higher end pagent or prom collections- one that sticks in my mind is this dress I sold to a bride for a winter wedding from Rachel Allan:

In terms of designers to check out, I'd recommend Sherri Hill, Rachel Allan, and Ellie Wilde. Sherri Hill in particular has some gorgeous couture gowns in red- I don't know what your budget is like, but thought I'd throw in a few pictures.

This Ellie Wilde gown (EW122094) even has an amazing lace train which can sometimes be tricky to find for colored gowns!

Something else I thought I'd mention- a lot of bridal salons also carry prom or pagent brands like these, so if having the traditional try-on-dresses-at-a-shop experience is something you're wanting, these could be a good bet! That's what we usually did at the store where I worked.

One last dress- a very dramatic Rachel Allan. It reminds me of a rose petals with the skirt!

Red dresses are so fun! I always enjoy seeing the non-white dresses people choose, and they were always some of the most fun bridal appointments I had.
