My diy project today

So here’s my project today. Cutting out liners for the envelopes. 170 to get through. Tomorrow’s job will be to glue them to the envelopes 😩. What’s everyone working on today?

Awesome! DIYin them is not so bad. You probably could find rose gold paper. May be cheaper to find them already pre cut. I also DIY my invitations. The map image used is included on one of the details card so I wasn’t able to find paper with this image so making the liners myself was necessary and free lol. Ooo I live mason jars. Did you paint them rose gold?

Ooo big party. My guest list started at 420 got it down to a happy medium of 275 lol. Luckily we have a lot of families in the same home so we don’t need 275 invitations. We need about 160 but of course I made extra.

I'm doing contract and payment for the officiant this weekend, as well as trying to corral FI long enough to get him to commit to shelling out for the invites. (Most so far has been paid for by my parents.) We're 91 days out and NEED this DONE. Smiley atonished Of course, his mind is elsewhere, as we are supposed to be closing on a house in about 5 days....... but I need my invites! Ahhh!

How cute! I love them. I'd honestly feel bad opening it wrong and messing up all that work.
Hopefully, id use a letter opener and I'd probably keep the envelope and invitation as a keepsake its so nice! Good job!

My wedding is next year, but making things is my outlet and I had to do something...so I made an engagement board. Not finished, but you get the idea Smiley smile
Sorry for pic overload , I don't have my glasses on and wasn't sure which pictures were the clearest🤷

Thanks so much Mandi. I will be using this Uhu adhesive. I tried it out on the completed envelope in the pic and it seems to work pretty well.

Love the envelope liners!! It is the little details that connect your guests to you! ❤️ Just a suggestion to you some of you about invitations...I used to be a stationer & sold all types of wedding invites, etc! DIY is awesome but realize that it does take a lot of time to print & your printer cartridges can be pricey. So you may look online for invites...a few of my favorite sites are tinyprints, pear tree greetings, & minted. You can find online coupons & free shipping on some. While you wait for invites, work on getting your list perfected...tracking down addresses, spelling of names, buying stamps, making a direction card (if needed), deciding who will address them (Perfectly acceptable to print from a program). This will make things go more smoothly when the invites arrive!
