My diy bridal shoes and flower girl baskets

Danielle, on February 8, 2018 at 8:03 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14
I have been searching for the perfect shoes and I’ve seen several that I like but they’re so expensive. So, I looked on Pinterest for ideas and I decided to create my own. I ordered a plain white shoe ($23) with a small heel because I want to be able to wear them all night and then I went to work. I’ve added lace and pearls so far. I think they’re beautiful and unique. I also bought 2 small baskets from goodwill (.69 each) and created my own flower girl baskets. I’m absolutely loving them. ♥️ You can have the beautiful items you want without spending a fortune. The total cost for the supplies for both projects was about $15.

OMG. This looks amazing. You go, girl! I might have to find a way to pin these photos to Pinterest so that I can try something similar.

That's awesome! I wanted to do my own shoes (soulless beach sandles), but I had already stacked up a huge DIY project for myself that already created a big enough mess as it was. Props to you for doing such a lovely job!

😂I can relate. Myself and the floor was covered in burlap and glue when I finished. But it’s better than paying $30 per basket.

Thank you! I’m not quite done yet. I’ll be adding some ribbon ties at the center to make them into Mary Janes. I love vintage.

I felt the same about the Flower Girls' baskets. I made my own too. I too purchased my baskets from Goodwill and decorated them. So much cheaper! I love DYI projects!

Yours look amazing too! I’d rather do things myself. It puts more of my personality into it.

EBay. They were very cheap but they’re comfortable. They have a comfort lining. Also got here quickly. I’ll check the seller I used and let you know.
