Hi all! My Bridal shower is coming up and although I'm not throwing it (my MOH is) I'm helping her with some ideas. First it was going to be a murder mystery themed party but it felt a little inappropriate for the occasion. So now we were thinking it would be something along the lines of something being stolen/missing and guests would have to solve clues (?) to find it or the culprit. Any ideas on how to make this a reality while still staying bridal and doing the typical shower stuff (food, opening presents etc)?

What does this have to do with getting married? Unless it's a wedding-themed mystery, I think you might be a little "off-topic" with this.

Agreed! We were thinking along the lines of The Case of the Missing Wedding Cake (mostly because we're not gonna have cake at the wedding). Maybe hiding little plastic rings around the house for people to find and collect? Clues about my FH and I could lead to little prizes?

Hi Zaida! I really like this themed idea! It will make for a very interactive shower! You could really make cute clues with the different items! I know Pinterest has some great inspiration for decor ideas! I would love to see how everything works out! Good luck!

This sounds great! I've never experienced a murder mystery party, but you could use the structure of a murder mystery party and make it so the culprit has stolen the wedding cake (instead of killing someone).
You could also have a bridal bingo game when you open your gifts. Whatever person/team gets BINGO first gets a clue towards the culprit.

Honestly, as a guest I’d find this a little cringeworthy. It seems appropriate for a child’s party but not a shower.
