I found myself a bit ago listing a ton of songs on a reply to someone and I thought it'd be cool if we had a thread of great songs that inspire us in the love area that could possibly be inspiration for someone lost and looking for the perfect first dance song..everyone can add something to it if...

    I wouldn't recommend using Matt Nathanson's "Wedding Dress" for a first dance or at all at a wedding. I saw him live two nights in a row a few years back and the first time he introduced the song with "This is a song that sounds like it's about divorce, but it's not." And the next night with, "This is a song about divorce." Probably not the right sentiment!

    Wow! I never knew that! I thought it sounded like a song about seeing your lady in her wedding dress. Noted, and will def not tell anyone to use that one lol.

    I can't see any other song being our first dance other than Adele's cover of "Make You Feel My Love" It's incredibly sweet and soulful. The lyrics, the way she sings it, it's incredible. (:
