We had only a few songs we wanted played. We trusted our DJ to know what songs would be good. I wanted at least one Taylor Swift song because she is my favorite artist. Our DJ recommended using a slow song for the first song to open the dance floor in order to get most people onto the dance floor. This worked perfectly because I wanted to play my parents wedding song and my dad was leaving early because he didn't want to be around the alcohol since he is a recovering alcoholic. My parents wedding song is I Swear. I was wanted LOVE by Nat King Cole and Up Town Funk.

At this one wedding I went to recently they played, Sweet Caroline and it was super fun and Everyone loved it and sang the whole song. This one got all the younger and older people up.

For our wedding our must plays were:

1. Bless the Broken road. It's what I walked up the aisle to. DJ screwed up though and played the instrumental instead of the one with words like I requested.

2. Perfect by Ed Shearan. It was our first dance song

3. That's what I like about you. It's the song we cut the cake to

4. Girls just wanna have fun. song for bouquet toss

5. I'm to sexy. Garter toss

My playlist is kinda long however my dj will have playing time. I will have line dance music, Ella mai songs, earth Wind &Fire. My playlist is has a variety.
