The DJ will be setting up in the reception barn so I don't expect him to also be set up over in the cocktail barn at the same time.... Is there usually music at cocktail hour? I legit have never noticed...is it worth it to have the guitarist play for cocktail hour? attached are pics for clarity.

We will have a dj for the ceremony providing sound, cocktail, and reception. Although I am not sure how all of this logistically works but we meet with him tomorrow and can be sure to ask!

Can the guitarist play the cocktail hour as well?

I second the keeping the guitarist for cocktail hour. We had a string quartet for out processional and recessional, and they continued to play (though a more contemporary selection) through cocktail hour.
