Music During Guest Arrival

Danni, on August 30, 2014 at 8:21 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

We are getting married in October, and I'm working on our music list. We've got the music for the wedding party processional, the bridal entrance and the recessional. I'm trying to come up with music for when guests are arriving, before everything begins. It's an outdoor wedding and not super religious. There will be about 50 guests. I'm thinking some sort of bluegrass instrumentals. I really like the style of Trampled by Turtles, but would like the music without the lyrics. Any ideas on where to look for something like this?

We had a small wedding as well. Who is in charge of your music? DJ, band, or strings? You could ask them for their repertoire to give you an idea and then go from there. We had a string duo and they had an extensive repertoire. They played instrumentals of the Beatles, Coldplay, One Republic, Jason Mraz, etc. while guests were being seated.

Ask whomever is doing your music if they have a song list or can recommend if your not sure.
