Multiple pairs of shoes

I wore one pair, but they were converse. I wanted to be comfortable for the ceremony and reception. I think the red converse are very pretty.

I wore two pair and was happy I did. It’s a long day! Love your Converse!

I’m only doing sneakers. But my FH is planning on doing dress shoes for the ceremony and Converse for the reception.

I am. But my 2nd pair is opposite switch compared to yours. My 1st pair are sneakers and 2nd pair are heels to go with my reception outfit, which I will wear in the last part of the reception.

I'm wearing heels for the ceremony and sandals for the reception so I can dance and be comfortable!

I only wore 1 pair- bought a pair of white Nikes that I glammed up. Went for comfort!

Oh i am for sure! Ours is in our backyard and the “theme” is Boho meets ‘burbs! My dress is lace so these are perfect for me!

I will. I’m thinking heels for the ceremony and either flats 🥿 or sandals/slides for the reception.

I’m planning on 3. Heels for the ceremony, boots for outdoor pictures in case we have lots of snow (it’ll be January) and sneakers for reception.

I totally have multiple pairs of shoes!

I tried on probably a dozen pairs over the last couple of months. Finding comfortable evening shoes that didn't sacrifice style too much was a priority, and an ankle issue has prohibited me from wearing "skyscraper" heels (or even "two-story building" tall heels for that matter, let at alone skyscraper lol) over the past two years. Also, my foot is wide-ish so while some ladies size M shoes fit fine, others were too narrow, as evening shoes tend to be. I was also finding that some size W shoes were too wide for me.

When I found a few I liked that fit perfectly, I was so excited, then it was hard to choose... But since we are going to do two events, I also had to consider that, too.

Our ceremony is going to be this fall at our home and we have a large field outdoors where it will be held, and our reception will be next Spring at a reception hall. For the two occasions, I am planning on having a pair of heels, two pairs of flats, and a cute pair of sneakers (rose gold glitter Keds!) which I may also use for our engagement photos.

View Quoted Comment Thank you, I have burnt red cowboy boots for our ceremony, yes they are comfortable, but we are getting married outside during the summer and you know how hot it gets so I didn't want them sticking to my legs and chafing. I tried to convince my fiancee to get a pair in blue but he isn't having it, lol.

View Quoted Comment That's no fun that he won't wear cowboy boots too. My husband changes into Converse for the reception which was the first and only time he's worn Converse. It was his idea to change into them to match me during the reception.

I want a nice pair of heels for the ceremony/my long dress. I'm switching into a short dress for the reception and will probably also go with Converse. Converse are my daily shoes (and my husband's, and I expect he'll switch into his at the reception, too) and I love collecting crazy prints of them, so I will probably get whatever wild print is available closer to the day, unless I see something I just have to have before then.
