Movie and Author Themed Reception Tables

My fiancé loves movies, and I prefer books—so we are mixing up our tables at the reception to match this! I was wondering if anyone has ever done any movie and/or book themed tables at their weddings (or plan to do so) and what did you use for each of them! I have votive candles and holders along with small gold frames that I will use to tie each of the tables together, as well as small bud vases for flowers. Any suggestions appreciated! I’m having a hard time collecting ideas for putting together each table!

so I am planning an alice in wonderland themed bridal shower and these aresome ideas I had for book decore if they also suit your theme as well?

Hi there!
I am having a literary theme! So our tables will have a frame with a book quote in it, votives and the main centerpeice are vintage book stacks which our florist will be placing a flat flower arrangement on!
I have also been folding books myself for decoration throughout the venue.
For some reason I can't attach photos of what I am talking about (I select the photo and it ends up bringing me back to the main discussion page. If it fixes, I will post!

You can always pick favorite books/movies for each table and then include items that represent those choices. I love this idea by the way! I had thought about doing a book theme for my wedding but FH is more a movie buff... I don't know why I didn't think of this!

That’s how we are! My fiancé is a huge movie buff, but I wanted to have my own personal touch on the reception too! Best of both worlds! ☺️

I'm having a literary themed wedding. If I had thought about it before I bought table numbers, I would have named each table after a book/movie/character!
