Move forward with restrictions or postpone

If you had your wedding during COVID, at a venue that followed all the restrictions, I'd love to know how it went!

We were June 2020, now June 2021 and it seems like not much has changed. We are trying to decide if we want to cut out guest list down to 50 from 135 (assuming it'll be 50 again by June) or if we want to postpone again. I'd love to hear from others that have done this and how it went? I know a lot of people went the backyard route but that's not an option for us. I'm especially worried about people being bored with no dancing.

    I honestly think June is going to look a LOT different from now, and I wouldn't make any decisions about it until at least the end of February.

    That said, many couples on here have had COVID-safe weddings - take a look in the "Married Life" forum!

    We are going forward with our 50 people (from
    240) if that’s what the limit is in July.

    I am actually less concerned about the no dancing than the number of people. There are so many activities I have seen people do and have friends that went to weddings and said they forgot all about the dancing.
    It’s going to be a personal choice for everyone but I just don’t want to wait anymore. We are 32 and ready to move forward.

    It's definitely sad to think about having to cut guests. We're also in our early thirties and though we don't want kids, it would be nice to move forward with the wedding after planning and replanning. Good luck, I hope July is better for you!
