Mountaintop Elopement?

Hello all! Fiance and I are eloping in Upstate NY in approx. 30 days. We will be hiking a smaller mountain (as small as mountains can be lol) and I was curious if anyone did something similar? How did you change? Did you hike in your dress? Did your makeup stay? What hairstyle did you go for?

I recommend wearing something casual to hike up in and then change when you get to your exact wedding spot. Have your hair in a sytle that won't easily mess up by the wind. I never wear makeup so I can't help you with that. I would probably put the bare minimum make-up on once I changed.

There was a bride in the last 3-4 weeks who I believe did something similar. I think they hiked to a small cabin and then got ready there. Her BAM photos included some of them hiking and camping, but also stunning wedding photos. You can probably find the post by searching the BAM threads for the past month. (The moderators usually link them all in a weekly post, so it shouldn’t be as hard to search for as it sounds.) Good luck!
