Motivation Board

I am looking to lose weight for my wedding. I know this sounds silly, but I am nervous to start too early. My wedding is not until 2021. I am scared that if I lose it I will gain it back before the wedding or something. However, I have been inspired to make a bridal motivation board. Has a motivation board helped you? Tips, tricks, pros, cons. Basically, anything that will help.

I think if that visual helps you, go for it!

It helps me to have something to track my food in because otherwise I truly don't understand how much I'm really eating some days! And 2021 is not too far away. That would allow you to slowly lose weight and truly keep it off because you're changing your lifestyle as long as you keep up the healthy habits you're establishing. It might actually be easier, because by the time you get closer to your wedding, your healthier lifestyle will be second nature!

This is a super cute idea! I need some kind of daily motivation to do the healthy stuff honestly. I'm changing my eating habits up and looking to lose 5lbs a month in preparation for our wedding and also just for me in general.

A good reason to start now is to find a weight you really feel comfortable in and that's reasonable to maintain. Your "ideal" weight might end up being different from the weight you actually like for yourself. Find a weight you dont want to go above and focus on staying healthy.

And careful with the weightloss and wedding dress alterations. It's just as bad to be too small for your dress. I would suggest keeping this in mind when you buy a dress and when you start alterations.

My fiancé and I are doing Keto. We are a year out but that gives us time for successes and failures. Doing together makes life much easier and more supportive. The unfortunate side is she has celiac so this keto drive is also an adjustment period to a new normal. She has been on semi strict keto for 2weeks and seems to have found a groove. Good luck.

I love the idea of a motivation board. I have a lot to lose, I'm kinda nervous about losing too much because then I'd have to most likely replace my dress. BUT I love the way my weight is coming off.
