Mother/son dance song recommendations for a unique situation

So I happen to have a unique situation and need suggestions for songs. My mother had a very terrible home life, and due to her age and lack of own parental support, she was unable to raise me and provide a decent life. So at age 3, she left me with my dad. I was lucky enough to have an amazing father and his wonderful mother help raise me. After 18 years of Birthday and Christmas wishes of wanting my mother, we reconnected, and I am so lucky to now have a relationship with her. Our plan is to have me do a dance with each my mother and my father's mother, as both of them mean a lot to me, one as my real mother and the other as my life-long mother figure. I have the song for my grandmother picked out, but I am not sure what song to have my mother and I dance to. I don't want it to be a superficial song, because obviously she was not there for my childhood. But my mother has done more than enough to make up for it, so I imagine there is some song out there that would more accurately reflect our story. Any thoughts?
