Mother/daughter or Father/daughter song?

I like "mama's song" by Carrie Underwood or "mom" by Meghan Trainer.

I'm doing the same thing!! We are either doing "Hero" by Mariah, "Mama" by Boyz II Men or "Thanks For My Child" by Pepsii Riley but I'm an R&B girl true and thru because of my mama.
I'm also planning on dancing with my "bonus dad" but a mother/daughter song is a must!!

That's a sweet idea! My dad died almost 10 years ago, so obviously I can't dance with him. But his best friend, who also happens to be my best friends' dad, was basically a second dad to me when I was little. He'll be doing the father-daughter dance with me. I've picked "Here Comes the Sun" for that dance. It's one of my favorite Beatles songs!

My fiancé will be doing his mother-son dance to "You'll Be in My Heart" from Tarzan. His parents are big Phil Collins fans and will love it.

I'm doing a dance with my mom and dad. My dad wasn't really there much when I was growing up but we are pretty close now. I have no idea what song to choose. My dance with my mom will be later in the night a surprise. It will be to Mama's Song by Carrie Underwood.
