Both my mother and my FH mother keeps asking what kind of dresses and what color I'm wanting them to get. I have no idea. These are my bridesmaids colors of their dresses two of them will wear one color and other will wear the other color. Still not sure what the color of tuxs will be yet...

So give me suggestions of colors to give to my mom and his mom because I'm clueless🤷 Mother of the bride/mother of the groom dresses 1

I told mine to wear something comfortable that they felt pretty in. You could suggest that they get an analogous color if you want them in similar tints & shades.
My mother is wearing a metallic silver dressy top and jacket with loose flowy pants.
My FMIL is wearing a floral long dress.

My mom wore something super colorful and floral and my mil wore a gold dress. So I like the idea more of a muted color like gray or silver or gold too but ultimately just let them get what they like

And my dress is a mosatto ivory color. I just don't know what colors will look good. I just don't want the colors to not look good in photos.

Muted tones are great, like Melle said, but (also like she said), they should have freedom to wear what they like. My mom and FMIL keep asking me as well, and I'm so busy with all the other million details, I keep trying to get them to choose their own. All that to say, you could try giving them a list of colors you definitely DON'T want and see if that is enough to sate them.

I think grey suits or even navy would look lovely with those swatches. Show them your swatches and tell them they can wear these or anything else that they would like. Or you can tell them your wedding colors and have them make the same choice.

My mom is wearing a dark teal, fmil navy, and his dad's gf is wearing burgendy. I agree just tell them what colors you don't want them to wear

I didn't give our mothers any requirements, I just told them whatever they felt best in.
Bridesmaids & groomsmen (light blue dresses & ties)
My mom (dark blue dress)
His mom (maroon)
