Is there a rule/etiquette on what color they should wear. My colors are navy blue/silver/and a moss green as an accent color. Bridesmaids gowns are navy blue. Typically are the mom's supposed to stay within the wedding colors? Or can they venture out some..

Picked out several conservative dresses in blue. Wedding party in wine . Mob doesn't want me in the same color but I thought a variable of a blue would compliment ... everything I pick she doesn't like and starting to feel like maybe I should just make a decision on what I feel good in. Not trying to outshine anyone but I want to feel truely happy on my only sons day 😪
