I think that’s fine ! It’s a lot darker than an ivory

I see no problem with that color as long as you and her like it.

Certain beige, nude, gold tones can be very difficult to wear depending on your mother's coloring. Just make sure she can try it on or returnable! Otherwise I think it could be great!

I think you’re fine! My mother is wearing a champagne with tulle dress, sort of similar colored but even lighter. It honestly looks a bit like a bridal gown, but I don’t mind! She looks so beautiful in it, and it was the first dress SHE felt comfortable and pretty in, so I’m very happy that she’ll get to wear it. Ultimately, everybody knows who the bride is, in the long run just make sure you mum feels beautiful in the dress and is comfortable.

My mom is wearing this exact dress. My dress is an off white and it doesn’t clash at all or compete with my dress.

That's a really pretty color!! I think it will work well! I don't think its too close to the Ivory color of your dress! Like PP said as long as you are comfortable with it and she is comfortable in it, it should work out well!

This dress is pretty popular. I love the color and think its perfect. Enough to set you guys apart (you're the bride - she's the mother of the bride), but draws you guys together in the same way as it's a complimentary color. I'm having my bridesmaids and mother do something of a similar shade as I want them tied in with me somehow. If you guys are comfortable with it, who cares what others think???
