Mother of Bride Dress Color

If they’re asking you for Suggestions on what colors to wear then I think silver or gray would be nice

I would let them chose what color they feel comfortable in.

Whatever color they like. No one needs to match the bridesmaids.

They can wear anything that doesn't clash. I'd steer clear of red or orange colors but otherwise most colors will work with that palette.

I am not having bridemaids, but I would like my mom in either black, silver/gray or purple.

My mom is wearing an ivory colored wispy suit.

My colors are red, charcoal & cream. My mom passed 3 yrs ago so it’s my step mom & future mother in law. They’ve both asked me what colors & what style to wear. I’ve told them both they could both wear a shade of red. But most importantly I want them to feel & look their absolute best on the big day. If a shade of red isn’t in their color wheel than don’t get it. They both agreed that a shade of red works for them!

I think they should be able wear what they are comfortable in. My mom will likely wear a grey pantsuit and my mother in law purple dress.

Do you have any other wedding colors or is that the only one? They can wear another color from your scheme. Our colors are champagne, glitter gold, and wine. My bridesmaids will be in wine dresses and my mom is wearing a champagne dress probably with some shimmer or sequins.

Whatever color they want. It is a common misconception that the moms need to match the bridesmaids, but that's not the case. The moms aren't often even in pictures with them.
