Whatever color they want! Avoiding white or whatever color your dress is would be preferable but it’s whatever they are comfortable with.

My wedding party is wearing burgundy so they’re avoiding green so it doesn’t look like Christmas (their words not mine haha). They decided between themselves they don’t want to wear the same color so they’re keeping each other updated while shopping and then for obvious reasons they won’t wear be wearing white! Other than that it’s all up to them!

Whatever color they want to wear. Most will do their best to coordinate with the colors of your wedding, but since they are not part of the "bridal party," they are generally not required to wear a specific color. (Example: my wedding colors were royal blue, purple and turquoise. My mom wore midnight blue, step mom wore navy blue, and MIL wore an eggplant purple.)
