Mother in Law’s bracelet?

Meghan, on March 28, 2020 at 11:51 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
Hi all, so my future mother in law recently gave me a tennis bracelet her late husband (my fiancé’s late father) had given her for an anniversary. I was very touched, and she basically implied she wants me to wear it at the wedding, and I like the sentiment of that, but the bracelet is gold whereas the rest of my jewelry is silver, and I also just personally don’t care for tennis bracelets. I have tiny wrists and hands, so I can’t wear them without taking it to a jeweler to have half the links removed. Anyone have any ideas how to incorporate this bracelet somewhere other than wearing it on my wrist? My MOH suggested maybe wrapping it around my bouquet or something?

I like the bouquet idea. Or make into a hair clip.

I wore different color jewelry and you can’t tell from the photos. My head piece was gold colored with white and pink pearls, and my MIL let me borrow her bracelet which was gold with white pearls. My earrings were blue with white gold, and my e-ring is white gold. No one noticed the different colors at all!

Can you wear it to your shower or rehearsal dinner? Engagement photos?

Or maybe leave it on the memorial table if you're very against wearing it? Maybe you could also wear it as an anklet if it'll fit your ankle?
