Mother daughter dance

My FH has 2 girls, ages 11 and 7 and I would like to do a mother daughter dance with them since my father passed and I won’t have the father daughter dance. I’m having a hard time finding a song that fits. I haven’t been there for their whole lives, but they’ve taken quite a big piece of my heart. I was thinking “My Girl” by Elvie Shane, although it makes me cry like a baby every time I hear it. Any thoughts or suggestions?

If "My Girl" makes your emotional I think it's the perfect choice! 🎵
You could also do "Where You Lead" by Carole King, "I Hope You Dance" by Lee Ann Womack,
Or you can just pick a fun song to dance to with the girls like "Higher and Higher" by Jackie Wilson!
