Mother Daughter Dance

I will be having a mother daughter dance instead of a father daughter dance. My father hasn't been very active in my life since I was 10. He will be attending the wedding but I feel that my mother has been the one with me since he left and that this dance is owed to her. Any mother daughter dance song suggestions?

That's so sweet and thoughtful of you. That's a toughie because I'm not sure what style of music you like best but Landslide by Fleetwood Mac came to mind.

@Ashley C I am thinking of having a mother daughter dance as well. Same situation as you, but father won't be attending... it's a bit harder to find a song since my mom speaks Spanish... but I will continue to do some research. The song mama's song by Carrie underwood maybe a good one! Goodluck!

My friend actually did this at her wedding! It was sooo nice! She did "Wind Beneath My Wings"! It was soooo nice. Definitely a tear jerker.
