Mother daughter dance-

I think it's really sweet. Actually, the last wedding I went to, the bride danced with her dad and then with her mom just because she wanted to.

I think that could be really sweet! I would just double check that it’s something she would enjoy and not something that would unintentionally make her sad.

I think if you both did a rehearsed mash up that would be really cool

I did a mother/daughter dance! I danced with my dad- my parents are divorced but I’m close with both parents. Then I danced with my mom halfway through the night, the DJ announced it and everything. I felt it was important because even though my dad and I are close, my mom was the one who really raised me and made me who I am today. I think your mom will love it!

I also plan on surprising my mom too so I think it's really sweet.

I'm dancing with my mom because my father passed away in 2008. Halfway through, a longtime friend of the family who is a surrogate father to me will cut in and finish the dance with me.

I like the idea but agree with PP that i would discuss it with her before hand just so that it doesn't make her overly sad.
