Today while dress shopping, my mom brought up a point that has been stuck in my head since.

My dad wasnt around at all as a child, my mom took care of us kids. Well, she said she wants to have a dance for her and I at the wedding.
My dad and I are now on great terms, and hes walking me down the aisle and we will have our dance, too. 1) is it weird? And 2) do you have song recommendations for me?!?

Hi!! I’ve always wanted to have a mother daughter dance at my wedding. I’m very close with my mom and dad so I’m having 2 dances! My mom and I are dancing to The Best Day by Taylor Swift.

I agree with PP and the song choice Mama's Song! My Dad is in a wheelchair and can't stand for long periods at a time due to a past accident at work so if he felt it was too much my Mom and I were going to dance and Mama's Song was our song choice

She loves Mamas Song, so that's what we chose together!!!

Sorry but if dad wasn't there for you while growing up I am not sure why he is walking you down the aisle and not her, so a dance would be nice

No weird we are doing some funky stuff with our parent dances (lonnng story but they all hate eachother and are all remarried, both sides) so we are having three dances.
1. Never Alone - Lady Antebellum
2. You raise me up - Anthem Lights
3. Do I make you proud - Taylor Hicks
