motb Dress

I pretty much told my mom whatever she was comfortable wearing to go with it. She's about 5ft & a little chubby. She's more conservative so I told her as long as it was in the color scheme & she was happy I was happy. She found a Navy shine length dress that came with a nice jacket with some brighter blue flowers. It covers her arms, doesn't make her look even shorter & hugs her in all the right places.

My mother in law went to Ross to get hers since they do have a large selection of dresses

My mom got her dress at David's Bridal, it has both on the shoulder and off the shoulder straps, and was by far the most flattering dress she had tried on. She's 5'4" but has always been sensitive about her height. It looks kinda black in the picture xD but it is a dark navy blue.

My mom ordered this dress online and we love it.

I would suggest David’s Bridal! I didn’t like their girls who did the consultation for me but most of their dresses you can order in a ton of colors. I love that idea because it gives more freedom of what you can choose from.

MOB Dress

We picked my mom's dress out at Ross. It looks great on her and it was only $18!

So funny story my mom is wearing a light yellow dress for my Nov wedding. It was supposed to be worn 10 years ago when I was engaged at 19. I'm ok with her wearing it because it will save her money. I say ketvyour mom wear what she wants.

My mom got hers from David’s Bridal as well. She’s only 5’ so the dress will need to be altered because it’s long but it fit her perfect. She felt, and looked, beautiful and couldn’t stop smiling. The dress looked very elegant and is a perfect match for my venue which is a restored landmark movie theater. As she stated, she wanted a Hollywood style look. Lol I think she got it. I know it’s off the shoulder and your mom doesn’t want that but my mom didn’t want a form fitting dress and ended up falling in love with one.

My mom's dress came from Kannon's. I am not sure if that is a chain store or not. But our mom's are similar sizes and she had tons of options at Kannon's! She just had to have it hemmed.

My mom got her dress from JC penny. It was similar to one she saw at DB but was cheaper and a little more form fitting. Its like knee length which she loves. They also sold shoes that specifically went with the dress she purchased to so it worked out. Hers was all for less than 100 and she will for sure wear it again.
