It’s not trivial! How about you bring a tote that will have things from home? Pics of you 2, comforter, your robes, wine glasses etc.

I agree with the flower arrangement suggestion

If you're spending 5 figures on photography, I guarantee the photographers are skilled enough to make any room look romantic and beautiful! That's why you pay the big bucks!

That said if you truly want some amazing photos...would you consider splurging to book a nicer hotel just for yourself (your guests of course can still stay at the affordable hotel)? Does the castle have a getting ready room or area?

Yes, they are incredible, that was the hill that I was willing to die on because I am super sentimental and love photographs! (They include a really cool dj too.) That's a very good point.

So the castle has a getting ready room but they don't allow hairspray or perfume etc and you can't touch anything 🤣 also I don't have access until 2pm because it's also a museum so I'm like well thats not gonna work with my 12 ladies needing hair and makeup. One of my issues is that my friends and family are all flying in. I think three families, including my parents, are driving out of 150 people. So even if I do get a vintage hotel room thats more romantic and my taste, the 12 getting hair and make up now have to find a way to get to me at my hotel. I guess some might have rental cars though. Why is wedding planning so hard lol maybe I'm just being too picky or worrying about my guests too much. At least I have plenty of time to figure it out.

View Quoted Comment I would definitely consult with the hotel and make sure you book their nicest/most aesthetically beautiful suite for your stay. And look at tons of pictures of your specific room online (google, hotels.com, Instagram, etc) so you can plan exactly what items are needed and would look good in the room.

We are dling rhe same, getting ready at hotel thenask having some" fake "getting ready pics at the venues bridal suite.. Does the hotel have a suite? We got a discount on the JR suite since we booked 10 rooms with the block. It is large and has a big table, a sofa and plenty of room. We are bringing in flowers and some pops of color just to jazz ir up a bit.
