Morning Ceremony Invitation Wording

Private User, on January 7, 2017 at 5:42 PM Posted in Planning 0 2

Hi all!

I am totally stumped as in how to properly word my invitation. This is the timeline for the day of the wedding:

11 am - ceremony to start

11:30 am - Guests move into cocktail hour to begin

12:30 pm - Reception begins with 4 course meal & cake

4:30-5 - Party is over

I want to word that the ceremony begins at 10:45 am to leave that window for the late comers. Also, this is not a brunch or lunch. We are having lots of food and don't want to use a label. So instead, we are going to include "cocktails, reception and dancing to follow"

But my question is, should I include any specific wording about it being an early morning ceremony.

Thanks!

Our ceremony is starting at 10 am. We just included the time of the ceremony start and location and the reception start and location

Just write 10:45 am. You don't need to write "The ceremony begins at". Why would you need to indicate it is in the morning. People can see the time.

For the reception all you need is "Reception to follow".
