Mormon Temple Dresses?

I'm hoping I'm not being insensitive to any LDS people on here! I noticed that Mormon Temple dresses were white, long, elegant, simple, and around $70. On the LDS website, it didn't sound like these were sacred garments, just part of the dress code for certain occasions. Anyway, there are a lot of cute-looking styles to choose from that seemed like they would be great for a minimalist, boho, or Hygge wedding. Has anyone ever tried this, or does anyone know if wearing these as a wedding dress is offensive or taboo to this religion? Thanks!

    As a former mormon, I dont really see why it would be offensive. Like you mentioned, they're moreso for the temple attendance dress code, and I'm guessing the dresses you've found, I assume from a website?, are a collection that makes it easier to find modest temple attire for those who plan on attending temple sessions.
    It's not like you're trying to wear the garments (magic mormon underwear haha).

    I think some of them could go with Edwardian hair, and most of them would look cute with milkmaid braids. I'm mostly thinking of outdoor elopements.
