How much did your cake cost?! Also, did you get a slice for each guest on your list?

My quotes are at about $5/slice (simple design, buttercream). Our caterer charges $1/slice cutting fee... so we are going with cupcakes instead ($3.50 each). We are getting 1 cupcake per person. Our bakery includes to go boxes, so we are going to have our DOC package up any left overs and send them home with anyone that wants them.

About $300 for a tiny two tiered (6in & 9In) show cake and a massive full kitchen cake for the back. We got cake for 75% of our guests but we will also have a cookie table with approximately 10 cookies per person (this is our takeaway favor as well).

I found the girl whose making our cake on instagram and also she was referred to us by one of our vendors.

We are paying 300$ for 200 guests. Super inexpensive in my opinion, bakeries around me charge about. 5$ a slice which is crazy. I believe she makes it at home so doesn't have overhead costs.

It's three tiers btw Smiley smile

We are paying $150 for 80 servings (all guests). That includes delivery and sugar flowers. We're doing 3 separate levels and 3 flavors.

During our first cake testing we were quoted around $380 for a 3 tier cake and 2 sheet cakes for around 190 guests. At our second cake testing appointment we got quoted around $550 for roughly 150 guests with a 3 tier cake and 1 sheet cake. Both designs were pretty simple too.

ETA: Also, when talking with both cake places we said we wanted a few more servings that what we will actually need to have so that way we can take some home for ourselves if we aren't able to try each flavor.

I was quoted $3-5 per slice so we are going with bundtinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes instead, at around $1.70 per "slice"/bundtini. They are small and we are having more than one flavor so we'll get enough for 2 per guest

I'm paying $350 for a 2-tier and then sheet cake for 200 guests. (Mind you, I live in small town KS. And the cost of living is absolutely lovely here.)

Our venue charges a $300 flat rate for cake or we could go else where and they charge a $3/person cutting fee. Most bakeries we were looking at in Western MA are between $5-8 per slice.

Mine will be around $5.00 a slice and I'll probably get a 3 tier cake for 75 people. Yes, I'm getting atleast a slice for every person, maybe a little bit more. I'm getting vanilla cake and one layer with crème brulee filling and one layer with chocolate mousse filling.

$500 for simple 3 tier, 3 flavor cake that feeds about 130. No cutting fee from venue. This was the hardest thing for me to swallow with pricing. I am in Central coast

We just had our first tasting and the bakery quoted us about 870$ for a 130 sliced cake including the delivery fee.

they were just under $5 per slice.

My cake is included so I'm not sure the itemized cost but -- why are you thinking of not having cake for everyone? The cake is my favorite part of a wedding. Are you having other desserts?

I guess not everyone will eat the cake but they should have that option to choose, not be limited to the first x number who opted in.
