Money Dance alternative?

Mrsn2020, on July 21, 2020 at 7:19 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 4

Any ideas for an alternative to a money Dance?

I usually love this tradition because it gives guests a chance to dance/greet the bride or groom personally and may even be the only time they get to speak with them during the reception.

But due to covid, we will be limiting contact with guests as much as possible.

I'm personally not a fan of the money dance I think it looks money hungry and I feel like it puts pressure on your guests. Instead, I would just walk around to each table to chat with your guests.

You can have a receiving line or visit tables during dinner to greet everyone. One or both are typically done so the couple is able to greet guests at the majority of weddings..in addition to mingling during the cocktail hour.

Normally, if you're just looking to talk to everyone, you just visit each table during dinner. The money dance isn't about seeing everyone - it's usually perceived to be about the money. There're a bunch of chances to see your guests during the day.

I would go around to each table and visit with your guests.
