I am doing that on my wedding. Just plan on figuring it out at the rehearsal next week.

My brother took my fathers place because he was unable to attend. But it went perfect otherwise.

My mom wants to walk down the aisle with us and I'm all for it except the aisle is not wide enough so we would have to make a V kind of. I hope she gets past this because id like to be actually next to someone instead of in front

I walked with both my parents. There is no way I would play favorites and choose one without the other. If one of them couldn't have done it, the 2nd walker would have been my sister or my very close grandmother.

In my family/social circle it's been the norm for decades. We're of the opinion that being escorted by a male family member and being "given away" to another man is sexist and archaic.

One of my best friends did this. She just linked an arm with each parent and held her flowers with both hands in front of her.

Both of my parents walked me down the aisle! At first I was skeptical. It was something my dad wanted. I am so happy I did though!! It was a very special moment that brings a smile to my face every time I think about it!

My family is pretty traditional and my mom hates attention, so my mom didn't want to walk down the aisle with me. So, my mom was escorted in at the beginning of the processional then my dad walked me down the aisle. However, at the "who presents this woman" part, my mom stood to answer with my dad, then helped him flip my blusher. I thought it was a good compromise!

I personally love when brides do this. i think it is a nice way to modernize the tradition of being "given away" (which makes me cringe).

One thing that popped into mind is to ensure that if you do this, your aisle is wide enough for three people. I've been touring venues lately and some have very wide aisles already set up, but the one I chose will set up chairs in the garden on the day of. I'll be walking by myself, but if I had two others with me, I might want to tell the venue so they could prepare a wide enough aisle.

I plan to do this, but obvs I don't have pictures yet. But I will share that at my friend's wedding last year, her DH walked with both of his parents at the start of the processional, gave them a hug and a kiss, and they sat down. Then came the bridal party, and then the bride also walked with her two parents, gave them a hug, they sat down. The bride and groom walked the last few steps up to the altar together. I thought it was beautiful.

I had my parents walk me down - I don't have my pro pics back yet. It went fine.

I kept my bouquet down near my "bush" just like I was told, back straight, chest out.
