Moissanite rings

You can find YouTube videos comparing the two. I've never heard of someone getting moissanite and regretting it!

I really like the idea of not owning a blood diamond. The today show also did a special on them.

I have a moissanite engagement ring and I LOVE it. I did a ton of research before getting mine because I wanted to make sure that it would be strong enough to handle wear and tear (I'm pretty rough on my jewelry) and also never fog or tarnish like a CZ. And I found great results- they are nearly as strong as diamonds (I believe moissanite are like 9.75 hardness whereas diamonds are a 10- i May be wrong but I remember it was VERY close) and they keep their brilliance for a long long time. You cannot beat the value of a good moissanite over a good diamond. It is about 1/5 of the cost for comparable size and quality.

I got mine from Etsy but there are a few sites you can buy from if you do your research. I also followed a couple pages on Instagram and they showed videos on how their stones sparkled.

I will say that when I looked at wedding bands, there didnt seem to be much of a cost difference between diamonds and moissanite. But as far as engagement rings, moissanite are SO worth it. Hope that helps!

I have a Miadonna diamond hybrid. It is SOOO sparkly, I love love love it!

ETA: I brought it to a jeweler when we were looking for wedding bands and the woman was looking at it very carefully for at least a minute (looking for flaws) and DID NOT KNOW it wasn't a diamond. Now, I don't know if that just means she's a terrible jeweler or if this is a really good hybrid but the average person definitely won't know the difference... myself included!

I don't have one yet but word on the street is I'll have mine by the end of this year, woohoo! FH is upgrading the ring he got me in college. I came to WW for reco's and all the information I got on here and my research convinced me it's the way to go. More bang for your buck, ethically worlds better, more brilliant... need I say more?

My engagement ring has diamonds and my band has Swarovski crystals. We got the wedding band because it was cheap and it was meant to be "just for now" until we had money to buy a better one but I think it looks just as good tbh.

I don't have a picture of it but my mom owns a moissanite ring and it's gorgeous!! And so durable since she's super hard on her jewelry between work and being in her flower bed and playing with the grands

I have a moissanite ring from Charles and Colvard and I love it. They also give the stone a lifetime warranty. I love the sparkle and fire in mine and we're preferring ny wedding band from them as well.

Don't have a moissanite but rather a morganite! Totally obsessed with it and so much more affordable than a diamond but I still have small diamonds around the band. I get countless on countless complements on it. I'm getting nesting wedding bands of rose gold with the small diamonds also.

I think a girl in my master's cohort has a pear shaped morganite ring. It is rose gold with a small dainty halo. It is absolutely stunning! I catch myself staring at her ring all the time because it is so pretty and unique.

I have a morganite with diamonds and rose gold. I can't stop looking at it. I love its look and uniqueness.

I don't have a diamond but I do have an amethyst which I completely love.

Mine is a Tanzite, with a halo, in diamonds. It changes dark blue and purple in the sun light.

Mine is a sapphire. It's my birthstone, and favorite color, and i always wanted something that was different from what everyone else has. I also was profoundly affected by Blood Diamond.

I'm loving seeing all the Moissanite because after sapphire, it was my second choice. so pretty!
