Moh/bridesmaids dresses

Stephanie, on May 13, 2020 at 8:22 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15
Ladies and gentlemen I am so stuck. I’m having a wedding at a barn our them is rustic/vintage and I’m so stuck with the dresses for my girls! I will be buying them boots for their thank you gifts so I definitely want to see those but still. I’m not sure if I want to do long dresses with a split in them or just do high low dresses that way for 1) we can see the boots for 2) it will be hot as our wedding is July 31 and for 3) the high/low dresses will be longer in back so if they want to dance their dresses won’t be showing their bottoms lol. I’m just so stuck on the dresses. Help what’s ur opinions? Also my moh is going to be in champagne but idk if I should have all the dresses match style wiseMoh/bridesmaids dresses 1

I'm personally not a fan of short dresses for a wedding as I don't think a short dress really fits in with a wedding. I would probably do a dress with a slit.

I think it’s all about your personal opinion. I personally don’t like short dresses for weddings, so I’d do longer dresses with the slit. However, I’ve seen a lot of people with summer and even fall weddings do shorter dresses to show off the boots. I like the lacy options for pairing with the boots if you do the short dresses.

I love all of them!! Hard to decide. But also agree with PP’s. Long dresses are always more formal but if you want to show off the boots, then I definitely vote for the lace halter dress🤗

Is the barn air conditioned? If any part of it is outside (including pictures) I'd pick a short dress. I had to wear a full length dress at my best friends wedding last July and it was torture taking pictures outside. We came in sweaty and red-faced. Not a good look. I like the first dress, or give them a choice between the last two so they don't have to pick strapless if they aren't comfortable with it. Good luck!

The long dresses seem more formal whereas the shorter dresses are cute but look more informal. I'd say to pick the style that best matches your wedding aesthetic. My wedding is more formal where guests (not those in the wedding party) are allowed to go semi-formal since its in the summer. I picked the company and color of my bridesmaid (plum) and groomsmaid (grey) dresses and they were allowed to pick the style.

I like the first dress. I have been to plenty of weddings with shorter dresses foe the bridesmaids. It's normal. July is HOT at least where I live. My BMs will be in knee length dresses and boots.

Yes the ceremony is outside but the barn is air conditioned. I like the idea of the lac material and my dress is lace and sequins

I don't really like short bridesmaid dresses, so I would choose the dress with the slit.

Me personally I like the first dress because it short but not to short but they at least won’t be hot and still be comfortable. My wedding dress is short because it is outside I don’t feel like they should be miserable to wear a long dress and feel uncomfortable.

They're all pretty. The short dresses seem to better fit the style/vibe you're describing that you want with rustic/vintage. Plus they can worn again after the wedding.

I love the first dress! It's simple enough to be elegant (sometimes the all lace short dresses can seem young), while still showing off the boots.
