So tomorrow, i am taking my FMIL shopping to get her dress, she does not know we are getting her dress. I need to think of something to tell her we r getting. She knows most of the stuff is bought, i do not want to tell her until we are at the store. Wat should I say we are looking fir since I know she is going to ask. Already asked FH and he diddnt have any ideas.

Can you say you're looking for a purse or a wrap for yourself for the wedding?

I think a wrap for your wedding dress would be a believable excuse. I'm sure FMIL will love the surprise!

It worked like a charm, told her we need table cloths and stuff. We pulled in parking lot and told her what we were actually doing. Found a beautiful dress and a nice pair of shoes. She was worried abt the shoes not being dressy enough for her dress (she has problems w her feet so we got her a pair of shiny tennis type shoes) and i told her if anyone ahs any problems then tell them to come talk to me. She was very happy to have been spoiled today. Also go the last pr of pants needed for the groomsmen. Just need shoes for a few ppl and all articles of clothing will have been bought
