Modesty panel problem

Kaitlin, on January 28, 2018 at 8:48 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
Alright so I bought my dress online several months ago and seem to have lost the modesty panel for the corset back. Is there anywhere I can just buy a panel? Could I just use a piece of fabric or does it have to have rigidity? I'm open to hear all suggestions.

Check with your seamstress. They can probably make one perhaps from material from your alterations.

Agree with PP. If you're not having a seamstress, I could find a piece of material at Michael's or Joanns as close to your dress as possible and find a safe way to secure it into place.

Would I have to add boning or anything to the piece of fabric? Or would adding snaps to the fabric be good enough?

It really depends on your dress style and your body type. I would try it without first and sit, stand and twist. If it stays put, you're golden. If not, it would be just one on each size should suffice.

A seamstress could probably make a new modesty panel for you fairly easily.
