Modesty Alterations Sweetheart Neckline

Are you having your dress hemmed? Maybe they can use the extra fabric from the bottom of the dress to make it more modest.

When I was trying on dresses, my bridal consultant said many brides alter the neckline.

@MFB I have a very large chest. Almost any dress I tried on needed neckline alterations. I loved my dress and the way it looked when they showed me how the sweetheart modified. The bridal consultant I had explained exactly how my alterations could be done. I'm planning on using extra lace that I ordered from the manufacturer to raise the neckline a bit. I was hoping to see some pictures from other brides that altered their necklines since I've been told it's a very common alteration.

I'm a very busty woman and I talked to the person who will most likely do my alterations. I told her that I wanted to add some satin to my dress and she suggested doing a satin strip around the sweetheart neckline. I love the idea and it gives me extra coverage. I've been researching on pinterest and found some good ideas.
