It should be personal to their tastes. My mom loves pandora charms so it will probably be that for me.

I am leaning towards a nice picture frame for my mom that I will give her a professional picture for after the wedding. She brought up to me that she doesn't need a gift and doesn't understand why its become a "thing" but she has been helping a lot so I'm going to do something small at least.

My mom is very understated, so I got her a plain silver bracelet that has the engraving "today a bride, forever your little girl" on the inside. For my FH's mom, I got a ring dish that says inside, "Your son is a special man, that I know is true. He would not be the man he is today were it not for you." I got both of these off Etsy (and did not come up with the messages). I think something small that will make them remember the wedding fondly is a nice gesture!

I got FMiL a gorgeous 'family tree' heart necklace with an engraved back that we put a message on, in a gift jewelry box with an engraving from FH, my son and I. For my mom I got her a charm bracelet cause thats the only jewelry she really wears and I picked animal charms in ones she associates with me, her, and my son since she loves animals.

My mom always refuses gifts lol. She said she doesn't want anything. I'm going to have her pampered with mani pedis before the wedding, hair and make up professionally done the day of, and I'm paying for a room for my parents the weekend of the wedding. I will also be making her a custom photo book once we get our professional pics.
