I got her earrings, a sentimental necklace, a handkerchief, and a restaurant gift card

We gave both sets of parents collage frames with weddings photos after we got them back from the photographer. Our parents are more into sentimental things and would never use things like cufflinks/handkerchiefs/etc. My mom and uncle own a jewelry wholesale business so we all just borrowed fancy jewelry for the night, so jewelry was not an option either lol. They loved the photos. There's definitely a lot of variance. Just try to think about what kinds of things your mom likes in general. The thank you gift doesn't necessarily have to have a wedding theme to it.

I gave my mom a Shutterfly book with photos of us from the day I was born up until my bridal shower, with a “thank you for always being there for me” letter written in it.


She’s not a Knick-knack kinda person so the typical “MOB” gift stuff wasn’t right for her

I got my mom a pair of earrings and a frame with a photo of us when I was little and an empty space for a photo of us from the wedding

We are giving both moms a bottle of wine that will be served at wedding, we will purchase these in advance and then have them engraved. We are also going to order custom glasses that will have flowers that we used in the wedding, like below. Topping it off with a letter from me to his mom, and a letter from him to my mom.

We both wrote her a letter. My husband bought her a jewelry dish that said "I'll always take care of her" and I bought her a wine glass.
