Mob dress

I know not everyone worries about MoB dress colors, but I would like photos to look cohesive as well as make my mother feel comfortable. Thoughts on the colors below? Too similar or OK since the materials and silhouettes are so different?
My mother would also be okay with their green color, but I’m not thrilled with the two together. This is her favorite dress style with very few color options and TBH she wasn’t happy with her dress in my sister’s wedding pictures.

My colors are forest green and burgundy, so I am asking MOB and FMIL to wear pink/gray/other very light, palette colors that will complement without making them look too much like the bridesmaids. If it were me, I would think that those are too close in color (the blues). But, it's totally your call! She will probably blend in with any bridesmaids wearing the blue, though.

I think it’s fine. Your mom won’t be in any pictures with the bridesmaids so it won’t matter if they are similar colors. The dress style is different so no one would confuse the two.

My sister in laws were groomsmaids and they are in a picture with my step mother in law and they are all 3 wearing black dresses. It doesn’t look weird at all. I had to go back and look at my pictures because I didn’t remember what anyone wore haha. And even looking thru my pictures I don’t notice what people are wearing. I think what you have selected will look great.
