Which dress do you prefer for the MOB? I love the floor length dress, but it is more revealing.. or the short dress that is more covering?

I don't know what you mother feels more comfortable in, but the long one is much more flattering! I'm not sure on the style of your wedding but it seems more formal as well.

I like the long - it looks more formal for a wedding and flatters her better to me. If she likes the short one - it would work as well.

It would depend on the overall style of your wedding, but I think the floor length looks much nicer on her. It doesn't cut her in a weird place like the top one seems to do. Does she have a preference?

Your mom looks great in both dresses! Which one does she feel more comfortable in? Will you be getting married in the summer? The first one looks really light and great for a summer wedding! Where did you guys find and try on her dresses?

If she doesn't like cleavage showing, she could always get matching lace sewn into the portion of the "v" that is too deep.

So my wedding is in December and the long one is the color I envisioned her in, but I still want it to be up to her. She is torn between both dresses.. and so am I. She loves both, but feels slightly better in the shorter dress, but I feel that the longer is more flattering. I just don't want to come off biased.

Thanks! She is worried that she can't pull off the long one, so I think she is leaning more towards the short dress.. I agree it would be perfect for a summer wedding, but my wedding is in December. We went to David's Bridal. The short was in the MOB section and the long is actually a BM dress

The long one is much more flattering on her and makes her look amazing. IMO, the short one looks a little frumpy and does nothing for her. Plus with it being a December wedding, the long one would fit in more. The short one seems more appropriate for a casual spring/summer wedding.

I would let her chose! They’re both the same color you want, which is great.
The first dress is more flattering on her, which is probably why she feels better in it. She looks great & youtful in it! The second one looks like any bridesmaid dress. It also makes her look like she has a belly, which she doesn’t have at all in the first one.

I actually prefer the short one on her (a lot!), but then there you go....this is really just a matter of personal taste, so I would have her choose whichever she feels will make her look and feel fabulous, regardless of what she thinks is the "correct" choice. She really can't go wrong, both are very pretty!

The short dress could work for a winter wedding as well especially if you guys will be indoors for most of the ceremony and reception. She looks beautiful in both dresses! Davids Bridal is great for finding dresses for the bridesmaids, mother of the bride and groom, and also the bride!
