Are you going to have other candy? 5 lbs of m&m's is not a lot for 120 people, in my opinion.

Based on this I would say get a 10 pound and a 5 pound bag

We are using m&m's as part of our favors. We are filling the bottom of a small stemless wineglass with m&m's. We will have approximately 140 people and my fiance bought a bag of m&m's to see how much we would need per favor. He determined he would need about 18 pounds.

I see again that great minds think alike, We are also using M & M in three colors blue, aqua & silver) the 5 lbs bags and we are using them in little treat boxes and a "LOVE" piece ( which will be a prize at the end of the reception). we have a guest list of 100 people, but we still don't have our final count to know exactly how many treat boxes we will be using

we are not doing personalize but the M & M colors are going to be blue, aqua and sliver gonna need 5 pounds bag of each color and to assist with the cost we are using my discount. I work at M & M that's my evening job to help us pay for the wedding
